“The Crimson Petal and the White” tells the story of Sugar, an intelligent young prostitute in Victorian London who yearns for a better life while writing a novel about a murderous prostitute. Her fortunes change when she becomes the mistress of wealthy businessman William Rackham and hatches a plan that will change their lives forever.

Starring Romola Garai (Atonement) as Sugar and Chris O’Dowd (Bridesmaids) as William, the respected international cast features The X-Files’ Gillian Anderson as brothel proprietor Mrs. Castaway, and Amanda Hale, Mark Gatiss, and Richard E. Grant as Agnes Rackham, Henry Rackham, and Dr. Curlew.
